Registered Nurse - PICU

Job Overview:
We are currently hiring a compassionate and skilled PICU Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Anchorage, AK. This role is responsible for delivering critical care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs, supporting families, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with pediatricians, intensivists, and other care providers
Educate and support families during the care process
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all safety protocols and hospital guidelines

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
PALS certification (AHA) within 90 days of hire
ACLS certification (AHA) within 90 days of hire
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
