Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This role is responsible for providing high-quality perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team for optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, an active Arizona or compact RN license, and ACLS certification upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in a variety of surgical procedures.
Monitor patients vital signs and responses to anesthesia, ensuring immediate intervention when necessary.
Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient operating room workflows.
Document procedures, medications, and patient status accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements:

Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or higher preferred.
Active Arizona RN license or compact state license required upon hire.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a general operating room setting.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in clinical quality or safety initiatives.
Laser/Safety Officer certification.
