Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a hospital-based laboratory team in Santa Monica, CA. In this role, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic testing in disciplines such as chemistry, microbiology, hematology, and immunology to support patient care and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and analyze clinical laboratory tests in accordance with standard procedures and quality control guidelines
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results to healthcare providers
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed
Uphold laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Work collaboratively with other lab personnel, physicians, and hospital staff

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Physics, or a related life science
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License

Preferred Qualifications:

Hospital laboratory experience preferred but not required
