Clinical Pharmacist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Clinical Pharmacist to join a dedicated healthcare team in Seaside, OR. This role is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in an acute hospital setting, supporting safe and effective medication use, and collaborating with providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, prepare, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
Monitor patient therapy and provide drug-related consultations to clinical teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and hospital policy
Educate patients and staff on proper medication use and potential side effects
Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

PharmD or Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
Oregon Pharmacist License (must be active upon hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

Acute care hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent (minimum 1 year)
Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency
