Registered Nurse Long Term Care

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Long Term Care team in Seward, AK. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, support their daily living needs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care in a supportive and person-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care and assist with daily activities in a long term care setting
Monitor residents conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document nursing interventions and maintain accurate patient records
Support a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff
May provide supervision and guidance to LPNs and CNAs

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months of experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long term care, or rehab)
Supervision or leadership experience
