People Services Director

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable People Services Director to lead the human resources function for a healthcare facility in Winchester, TN. This senior-level role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with organizational goals, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a strong workplace culture. The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR experience within the healthcare sector, as well as a deep understanding of federal and state HR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
Serve as a strategic advisor to hospital leadership on HR and workforce planning matters.
Lead and manage recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and Affirmative Action.
Act as a liaison between the local HR team and corporate People Services leadership (if applicable).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree required.
5+ years of HR experience in a healthcare/hospital setting.
Strong working knowledge of relevant employment laws and HR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a local hospital setting as part of a larger health system.
Priority consideration for candidates located in Tennessee or Alabama.
