Director of Nursing Emergency Services

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing for Emergency Services to lead and manage clinical operations within the Emergency Department at a hospital in Turlock, CA. This leadership role oversees staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives excellence in patient care, safety, and performance across all emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the overall operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, budgeting, and patient care services
Lead strategic initiatives to improve quality, safety, and patient outcomes
Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership to ensure alignment with hospital goals
Support and mentor nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and professional development
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations and policies

Required Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Bachelors degree in healthcare-related field or BSN required
Masters degree (MSN or related field) required
Current California RN license
ACLS and PALS certifications
Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification within 1 year of hire
2 years of progressive hospital management experience (manager or charge nurse role)
35 years of relevant clinical and leadership experience
