Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long Term Care team in Seward, AK. This role is responsible for delivering direct patient care, supporting daily living activities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Support residents with personal care, mobility, and comfort measures
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Alaska LPN license upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months of experience in a healthcare facility (long term care, acute care, or rehab setting)
