Director of Laboratory

Position Overview

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific discipline

• Minimum education requirement: BA or BS in Medical Technology or science-based field

• Hospital or reference laboratory experience preferred

• Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to function effectively in a high-stress clinical environment and take appropriate action

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree (MBA or MA/MS in a scientific discipline)

• Previous experience serving as a Laboratory Director or in a senior laboratory leadership role

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
