About the job Oracle Hyperion Functional Consultant
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Hyperion Functional Consultant. The Oracle Hyperion Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in the development and execution of the company's strategic plans and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, meeting etc. to understand business requirement and configure the system in line with the business requirements.
- Conduct CRP and Sprint session with business owners
- Document requirements and translate requirements to application
- Develop and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting models.
- Work closely with technical consultants to perform data integration and validation processes.
- Develop business and application documents to meet the requirement of the client.
- Manage documentations and deliverables related to Hyperion Planning and Budgeting
- Design and configure Oracle Hyperion Planning applications.
- Develop and maintain planning data entry forms.
- Develop and maintain business rules
- Manage Dimension Hierarchies
- Develop and maintain task lists, calculation scripts and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in Hyperion Planning.
- Manage Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Strategy Finance, SmartView, DRM and Reporting.
- Design and maintain all Hyperion financial reports
- Provides support and functional assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart view for Planning and Essbase/Reporting.
- Conducts user acceptance testing and involved in every phase of implementation.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their proficiency.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Hyperion Planning.
- Stay updated with the latest Hyperion Planning features and best practices.
- Experience working in a team-orientated environment.
- Having strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent communication
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning applications.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Knowledge in Metadata maintenance, Essbase database & backup recovery
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with data integration and validation.
