About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our waste collection team. The role involves operating waste collection trucks, including Front-End, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, and Top-Load vehicles, while ensuring safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste in the York Region area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection trucks safely and efficiently according to route schedules

• Assist with loading and unloading waste containers as required

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies

• Maintain accurate records of routes, loads, and incidents

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements

• Valid DZ drivers license

• Clean CVOR & drivers abstract (no preventable accidents in the past year)

• 6 months to 1 year of experience operating Front-End, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or Top-Load trucks

• Knowledge of York Region is an asset

• Physically able to push/pull and maneuver waste containers

• Strong communication skills, reliability, and teamwork
