- Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the
company/customer objectives and drive efficient software project delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase
efficiency and effectiveness in software development and deployment.
- Manage and mentor operations staff, fostering a collaborative
environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
- Manage and monitor different levels of support and operation including
multi-layer operation escalation within/outside the operation team.
- Develop and control the operational budget to ensure it aligns with
business strategies and financial goals.
- Manage Operation and support teams in terms of allocation, utilization, and time consumption including the reporting to company/customer management.
- Managing and monitoring helpdesk and/or issue tracking systems, and
generating performance tracking reports.
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to
minimize impact on the organization.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders,
ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of operational issues.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the
effectiveness of operational processes and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and
long-term needs.
- Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all
technological services.
- Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological
requirements.
- Oversee project management frameworks and tools to ensure software
projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Following up on all technical assignments and ensuring that all projects
going on the right track.
- Improving the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission and specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow, business process, and organizational planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 10 - 15 years in software
development or a related tech field.
- Demonstrated leadership in
managing large-scale and nationwide software projects.
- Advanced problem-solving
skills and the ability to manage complex project requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to lead diverse teams.
- High proficiency in
budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to manage
complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of web
systems architecture, design and development
- Infrastructure knowledge is
a plus.
- ITIL certification is mandatory.
