Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Develop, write, and maintain user manuals, system guides, and technical documentation for software applications and digital platforms.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create installation guides, configuration manuals, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and business analysts to gather accurate technical information.
  • Participate in product walkthroughs, demos, and sprint reviews to understand new features and system updates.
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines to ensure consistency across all documents.
  • Produce visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and process flows to enhance documentation clarity.
  • Organize and maintain documentation within platforms such as **Confluence, SharePoint, or similar knowledge management systems.
  • Regularly update documentation to reflect product enhancements, changes, and new releases.
  • Review documentation for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and usability.
  • Support the development of knowledge base articles and internal documentation to assist support and operational teams.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical writing within a software development, IT, or digital transformation environment.
  • Proven ability to write user manuals, software documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear written instructions.
  • Experience working with documentation platforms such as **Confluence, Microsoft Word, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile environments.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality.
