They are the full-stack B2B commerce platform for large fashion brands in the EU and North America. They are revolutionizing the $1.5 Trillion fashion design, manufacturing, and supply chain industry.

With significant revenue, regular traction, and multiple investment rounds closed, they are expanding their Product and Technology teams for further innovation. They are looking for a seasoned SQA Lead to hire, lead, and inspire a high-performing Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team in their HQ at Gulshan, Dhaka.

Position Overview

As the SQA Lead, you will oversee the software quality assurance strategy, processes, and execution across the software development lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to users. You will lead and mentor a team of SQA engineers, cultivate a culture of excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of quality product releases by managing the testing lifecycle from planning through execution and defect resolution.
  • Monitor and manage testing timelines, risks, and quality issues to ensure smooth releases.
  • Hire, lead, and manage a world-class SQA team, inspiring them to achieve excellence and grow professionally.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to SQA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and career development.
  • Define and implement the overall QA strategy, including processes, tools, and methodologies for both automated and manual testing.
  • Establish key quality metrics, performance indicators, and standards for product releases.
  • Collaborate with the product, engineering, and development teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Lead the initiative to automate testing processes wherever possible to reduce manual testing efforts and improve overall testing efficiency.
  • Promote best practices in software quality assurance, driving a culture of ownership and accountability for product quality across teams.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on quality metrics, risks, and test coverage to senior leadership.

Skill & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing QA teams in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Strong expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jira, Jenkins).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of both manual and automated testing practices, with a focus on functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture is a plus.

Employment Structure

  • Onsite in Gulshan-1, Dhaka | Full-time
  • Salary: BDT 120,000 - 200,000
