About the Role:
The Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager oversees all aspects of quality management across construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in construction quality assurance, site inspection, and continuous improvement practices. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality control programs to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with specifications, codes, and approved plans.

• Analyze inspection data, test results, and reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure all quality requirements are clearly understood and executed.

• Lead and document quality audits, ensuring all non-conformances are tracked and resolved efficiently.

• Train and mentor project personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, tests, and corrective measures.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall construction quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control management within the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, codes, and quality inspection procedures.

• Experience conducting inspections and audits in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating data and implementing effective quality solutions.

• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in construction management software and quality documentation tools.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQA, or equivalent).

• Experience with government or large-scale commercial construction projects.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.

• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements.
