Process Engineer

About the Role
The Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting cross-functional teams including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation and component drawings, contributing to product design for manufacturability, and aiding in accurate quoting through technical evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales to understand and interpret customer project demands and evaluate specifications for manufacturability
• Develop product solutions and alternatives for new or non-standard applications using technical knowledge
• Work with the Engineering team to finalize documentation for production release
• Create process documentation, including assembly drawings and work instructions
• Troubleshoot and resolve Engineering and Manufacturing related issues
• Evaluate risks in processes and develop practices to mitigate them
• Interface with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Purchasing departments
• Maintain component prints to current revisions and support Purchasing with proper vendor documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related fields) or equivalent experience
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD with strong knowledge of drawing and dimensioning standards, including GD&T
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Skilled in reading, interpreting, and preparing technical prints and specifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with vendor documentation and support practices
• Prior experience in process improvement and risk mitigation
