Position Overview:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team on the second and third shifts. The key objective is to ensure optimal operation of production equipment through continuous improvements, predictive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and effective repairs. This role is essential in maintaining the reliability and availability of equipment to support production goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, as well as machine components.
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize hand and power tools (e.g., pipe threader, press welder, cutting torch) for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent production or safety concerns.
  • Promote a positive work environment and motivate team members to achieve goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs.
  • Strong math, measurement, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental protocols in an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders multiple times per shift.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Must wear PPE, including respirators, hard hats, and safety glasses, as needed.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available for extended hours and be on-call for emergency repairs or to cover absent employees.
