About the Role:

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs maintenance and repair activities on automated industrial equipment, combining mechanical expertise with electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills. This role plays a critical part in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting automation systems, and minimizing production downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment and automated systems.
  • Diagnose PLC faults and assist with control system troubleshooting.
  • Maintain motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, and production machinery.
  • Repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
  • Support sensors, control devices, HMIs, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and equipment servicing.
  • Read electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of PLC-controlled systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, and automated machinery.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and controls systems.
  • CMMS experience.
  • Manufacturing, logistics, or distribution center maintenance experience.
