Permanent Primary Teacher - yr 3-6

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a fantastic school in South Auckland. This teaching role ranges in teaching students in year 3-6 in a learning hub environment.  This is a unique school, and a pretty special opportunity. You will definitely be well looked after and supported.

About the role:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons.  Curriculum is standard, you get to add your own flair to teaching and delivery.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.  
• Communicate regularly with whanau about student progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive staff culture and school community

About you:

• You cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• You foster respect and inclusivity with your teaching practice
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• You care about keeping up-to-date with current educational trends and best practices to continuously improve teaching methods
• True passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Qualified and current Teacher Registration in New Zealand 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Experience teaching students in Years 3-6 preferred
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum and assessment practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You must have the right to work and live in New Zealand.
