React Native Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a React Native Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cross-platform applications using React Native for both Android and iOS devices. You will work closely with our product team to design and build innovative user interfaces that enhance our app store experience. This is a full-time remote role.

Prior experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and bring new features to life.
• Optimise components for maximum performance across both platforms.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Create and maintain robust documentation.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and best practices in mobile development.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of React Native, Redux and related libraries
• Experience with building cross-platform mobile applications for both Android and iOS devices
• Experience with building great visual animations.
• Experience with integrating APIs and working with RESTful web services
• Understanding of mobile app design guidelines and best practices on both platforms
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Git for version control
• Experience with other front-end technologies including React.js, JavaScript, and CSS
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills
