Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Sales Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure team, supporting data center projects in Thailand. This role is designed for someone at an early stage of their career who is eager to develop both technical and commercial capabilities. You will work alongside experienced sales and technical professionals to learn how to position solutions with design consultants, contractors, and end users. The focus will be on building foundational industry knowledge, supporting customer engagement, and gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and accounts.

The product portfolio includes IT racks, power distribution units (PDUs), cooling systems, and aisle containment solutions, which are critical to the performance and reliability of modern data centers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities in the data center and IT infrastructure market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with design consultants, contractors, and system integrators, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist in influencing product specifications during early design and project planning stages.
  • Engage with enterprise customers and data center operators to understand their requirements and introduce suitable solutions.
  • Support technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, project management, and product specialists to ensure customer needs are addressed.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to strengthen market understanding.
  • Participate in industry events, seminars, and customer meetings to develop networks and exposure.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in technical sales, technical support, application engineering, or business development within IT, electrical, cooling, or related industries.
  • Exposure to data center infrastructure, electrical systems, or mechanical systems is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic understanding of racks, cooling, power distribution, or related infrastructure is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to learn how to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Thai and working proficiency in English are preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced and project-driven environment.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel for client visits.
