ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an established regional Microsoft business applications partner with operations across Singapore and Malaysia. The company specializes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related business solutions for SMEs and growing enterprises. The business is now expanding into Thailand and is building its first local team. This is a launch-stage opportunity, but not a company starting from zero technically. The Thailand team will receive support from experienced regional colleagues while building local market presence, client relationships, and delivery capability.

The company focuses strongly on practical ERP transformation, business process improvement, and localized Microsoft solutions for sectors such as food manufacturing, distribution, project-based services, and engineering-related businesses.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Pre-sales Consultant to support the Thailand market launch of a regional Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central practice. This role is suited to someone who understands ERP, business process pain points, and client discovery. You will work closely with the Thailand GM and regional pre-sales team to support customer meetings, discovery sessions, product demonstrations, proposal preparation, and solution positioning.

This is not a pure sales role. It is also not a pure technical back-office role. The ideal person understands how to listen to clients, translate business problems into solution direction, and explain how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central supports finance, supply chain, manufacturing, project costing, and operational workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Discovery and Solution Positioning
  • Join customer meetings to understand business problems, process gaps, and ERP requirements.
  • Lead or support discovery sessions with Thai prospects and business stakeholders.
  • Translate customer pain points into practical solution concepts using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Ask structured questions across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, project costing, and reporting workflows.
  • Help clients understand solution value in operational and business terms, not only system features.
Product Demonstration and Pre-sales Support
  • Prepare and deliver localized product demonstrations for Thai prospects.
  • Work with the Thailand GM and regional pre-sales team on demo flow, solution storyline, and customer-specific scenarios.
  • Support proof-of-concept discussions where needed.
  • Explain key Business Central capabilities in a way that business users understand.
  • Adapt demonstration content based on customer industry, process maturity, and decision-maker priorities.
Proposal, RFP, and Commercial Support
  • Support the functional and technical sections of proposals, RFPs, and customer presentations.
  • Help prepare solution notes, scope summaries, requirement responses, and implementation assumptions.
  • Coordinate with regional consultants to confirm solution feasibility and delivery approach.
  • Provide pre-sales input to support deal qualification and sales conversion.
Thailand Market and Localization Input
  • Provide local market feedback on customer needs, competitor positioning, buying behavior, and implementation concerns.
  • Help refine localized pre-sales materials for Thai clients.
  • Support discussions related to Thai statutory requirements, tax workflows, and local business practices where relevant.
  • Act as part of the first local team helping shape how the company approaches the Thailand market.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience
  • Around 3 or more years of experience in ERP pre-sales, solution consulting, ERP consulting, or senior functional consulting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or Microsoft ERP solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to ERP modules such as finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, project costing, or CRM.
  • Experience supporting customer demos, discovery sessions, solution presentations, RFPs, proposals, or requirement workshops.
  • Background in ERP implementation consulting with an interest in pre-sales is also relevant.
Technical and Functional Fit
  • Good understanding of how ERP systems support business operations.
  • Able to connect business problems with ERP capabilities.
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners, finance users, operations teams, IT stakeholders, and management-level decision makers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, CRM, or reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Thai localization topics such as VAT, withholding tax, e-tax, or statutory reporting is helpful.
Language and Mindset
  • Native Thai language capability for local client engagement.
  • Working English for communication with Singapore and Malaysia teams.
  • Consultative communication style with strong listening skills.
  • Comfortable working in a launch-stage Thailand setup.
  • Self-motivated, practical, and able to operate without heavy day-to-day supervision.
