About Your Role

This is a commercially driven leadership role responsible for managing and growing a defined business segment in Thailand. You will lead a small sales team while taking ownership of both existing customer relationships and new business development. The role requires a balance of hands-on sales execution and team leadership, operating in a solution-based environment where projects are often technical and multi-stakeholder. You will work closely with senior management locally and internationally, contributing not only to sales performance but also to market direction and business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve business targets
  • Set clear direction, priorities, and performance expectations
  • Drive accountability and continuous improvement within the team

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industry segments
  • Expand market presence through strategic account development
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities

Key Account & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers and decision-makers
  • Engage stakeholders across technical, operational, and management levels
  • Ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention

Solution Selling & Project Management

  • Lead consultative sales processes from initial engagement to project closure
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop tailored solutions
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving technical and commercial considerations

Commercial Ownership

  • Own sales targets, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Monitor performance and drive actions to achieve business objectives
  • Provide market insights and feedback to senior leadership

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in sales within packaging, machinery, or related industries
  • Proven experience in managing or leading a sales team
  • Strong background in project-based or solution selling environments
  • Demonstrated ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Solid negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable working in a regional and cross-cultural environment
  • Good command of English
