About Our Client

Our client is a global engineering manufacturer with operations across Europe and Asia. The Thailand office is located in Chong Nonsi, Bangkok, with an additional production site in the Eastern region. The business supports high-precision manufacturing and collaborates closely with international teams. The company values stable systems, strong user support, and clear communication across technical and non-technical functions.

Your Role

You lead all IT operations for two sites in Thailand. You keep systems stable, secure, and ready for daily use. You support users at every level and coordinate with international teams for upgrades and second-level issues. You balance daily troubleshooting with long-term planning. You guide the local IT team and act as the main contact for the Finance and Operations leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain networks, security, devices, and core infrastructure.
• Monitor firewalls, VPN, SharePoint, internet, and communication tools.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues across both sites.
• Provide user support with a calm and service focused approach.
• Coordinate with global IT for system rollouts and complex issues.
• Document problems, resolutions, and usage trends.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades for upcoming projects.
• Train users on Microsoft 365, VMware, Teams Room, and basic tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Eight years in IT operations with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication in Thai and English.
• Experience working in international environments.
• Steady problem solving and high ownership of daily operations.
• Ability to supervise and develop team members.

Technology Skills

• Networking, routing, switching, and device management.
• Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and user administration.
• Firewalls, VPN, SharePoint, and remote support tools.
• VMware and conference room systems.
• SAP, MES, or PLC interfaces are an advantage.
