About the job Supply Chain Management Manager
OUR CLIENT
Our client is a well-established international manufacturing organization operating in a high-volume, process-driven automotive environment. The Thailand operation plays a critical role in supplying global OEM customers and supporting regional production programs through disciplined planning, execution control, and service reliability.
The business operates under strict delivery, quality, and compliance standards, where supply chain execution is a core operational function rather than a back-office activity. English is used regularly due to close coordination with expatriate leaders, OEM customers, and regional stakeholders.
YOUR ROLE
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain execution to ensure uninterrupted production, accurate inventory, and reliable customer delivery in a live automotive manufacturing environment. This is an operations-led, execution-focused role. The SCM Manager owns planning accuracy, inventory discipline, warehouse performance, and delivery reliability, acting as the control point between customer demand, production, logistics, and internal operations.
The role operates close to the factory floor and requires daily on-site presence. Planning changes, material constraints, and OEM service pressure are part of the day-to-day reality. The SCM Manager is expected to make practical decisions under pressure, stabilize execution, and resolve issues as they arise, rather than rely on perfect data or long analysis cycles.
Success in this role comes from execution discipline, calm prioritization, and consistent operational control. This is not a sourcing, procurement, or transformation role, and it is not suited to candidates seeking remote work or purely analytical responsibilities.
