About Our Client
Our client is a well-established international food manufacturing organization with a strong footprint across Asia and a long history of supporting major food service and quick-service restaurant customers. Their business combines commercial partnership, product development, manufacturing coordination, and regional account management in a fast-moving environment.
They are now looking for a Senior Key Account Manager, Global QSR to join their Bangkok-based team and take on a high-impact role supporting strategic customer accounts across both local and regional business.
The Opportunity
This is not a narrow account servicing role.
It is a commercially important position for someone who can manage customer relationships, drive profitable growth, coordinate cross-functional activity, and keep projects moving across multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with teams across commercial, finance, operations, supply chain, and product-related functions to ensure customer needs are translated into actions that make sense both commercially and operationally.
The role suits someone who enjoys ownership, can handle complexity, and is comfortable working in an environment where both business judgment and execution discipline matter.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Partnership
- Manage selected strategic customer accounts across Thailand and regional export business
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and relevant decision-makers
- Support long-term account growth through proactive relationship management and opportunity identification
- Stay close to day-to-day customer needs while also keeping sight of bigger commercial priorities
Commercial Planning & Negotiation
- Support pricing, quotation, and negotiation activities with a focus on both growth and profitability
- Contribute to account planning, commercial reviews, and business opportunity development
- Apply sound commercial thinking when balancing customer expectations with internal business realities
- Monitor account performance, trends, and commercial risks
Project Coordination & Execution
- Drive customer-related projects from brief through internal follow-up and execution
- Coordinate across internal functions to maintain alignment on timing, feasibility, and deliverables
- Keep track of open actions, progress, and issues to ensure projects keep moving
- Communicate clearly and proactively when support, escalation, or decisions are needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, supply chain, and technical / product-related teams
- Build credibility and effective working relationships across functions
- Translate customer requirements into clear internal actions
- Help create a structured and responsive working rhythm around assigned accounts
Reporting & Business Analysis
- Prepare account updates, forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review
- Track key business indicators such as sales trends, margin movement, and customer activity
- Maintain organized commercial documentation and customer records
- Use data and structured analysis to support decisions and recommendations
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Around 8 years or more in account management, commercial operations, business development, or customer-facing commercial roles
- Background from food manufacturing, protein, poultry, food service, FMCG food, or related sectors
- Experience managing customer accounts in a B2B environment
- Exposure to cross-functional project coordination involving internal stakeholders such as operations, finance, supply chain, or technical teams
- Regional or international stakeholder exposure will be viewed positively
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong commercial judgment with good understanding of pricing and negotiation logic
- Able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of detail
- Comfortable working across functions and influencing without direct authority
- Good business communication and presentation skills in English
- Able to balance customer responsiveness with internal feasibility and business priorities
- Structured, dependable, and proactive in follow-through
