Job Purpose:

Lead the strategic planning, development, and management of the Temenos Core Banking GL Accounting and Product Management lifecycle to ensure seamless banking operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Product setup/maintenance of Temenos Transact Core Banking Platform, including the accounting module.
  • Define and configure banking products (Loans, Deposits, Payments, Trade Finance) in Temenos Transact.
  • Design GL mappings for products, transactions, and accounting entries (COA setup).
  • Train business users on T24 workflows and troubleshoot accounting issues (e.g., suspense account mismatches).
  • Debug T24 modules (ARR, LD, MM, FX) and enhance Temenos BASIC routines for custom logic.
  • Coordinate with vendors, IT, and business teams to implement solutions and improve processes post-launch.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years in IT, with hands-on experience in Temenos Transact Core Banking implementation.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Temenos Transact Product setup (configuration, GL/Accounting).
    • Project management, regulatory compliance, and Islamic Finance principles.
  • Behavioral Traits: Ownership, transparency, collaboration, and customer engagement.
