Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager (Events & Exhibitions)

Talents Tide is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager on behalf of its semi-government client in Dubai. The role supports sales growth, sponsorship acquisition, and client relationship management across regional and international markets, with a strong focus on events and exhibitions.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Support regional and international sales efforts, including re-booking clients from the existing database and acquiring new clients and partners.
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities and support the preparation of tailored proposals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Client Servicing & Relationship Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, sponsors, and partners, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Coordinate the delivery of contractual obligations, including booth setup, branding, activations, and sponsorship deliverables.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Sponsorship Acquisition & Negotiation

  • Support sponsorship sales efforts by engaging corporate clients and trade partners.
  • Assist in customizing sponsorship packages aligned with client needs and event objectives.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end sponsorship process from prospecting to contract execution.

Market Research & Strategic Partnerships

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and industry benchmarks.
  • Assist in liaising with international government entities and trade commissions to support partnerships and collaborations.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance event offerings.

Financial & Contract Management

  • Support contract execution, financial tracking, and follow up on timely payment collection.
  • Coordinate with finance and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, business development, or event operations.
  • Experience in exhibitions or conferences is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage high-profile clients.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is preferred.
