About the job Senior Manager - Business Development

Job Purpose:

To support the CBDO in a) attracting and registering channel partners/new clients; b) maintaining and deepening channel partner relationships via regular proactive engagement and the identification of areas for growth and collaboration c) providing an exceptional level of ongoing client service. The role requires providing research, briefings, meetings, and conference support. Success in the role and the identified objectives will require a passion for the company, its clients as well as an ability to proactively pick up any internal projects needed for the group.

Core Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Engage proactively with existing clients and channel partners to understand their business within the centre and to work with the client to understand growth potential for the centre. Through excellent Relationship management, support CBDO to build a strong referral process and leverage on existing client relationships to attract other clients to our company.
  • Establish and sustain robust relationships with channel partners, such as resellers, intermediaries and other vital stakeholders.

Manage Channel Partner Development :

  • Developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive growth across segments and markets. Identify and onboard new partners both locally and globally, provide support and training, and manage the performance of existing partners.
  • Assist the CBDO and keep abreast of industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify new opportunities; in the context of our company offerings.
  • Work closely with the CBDO and provide assistance on developing strategies for attracting potential clients through appropriate Our company's products and services.
  • Conduct research and analyse industry information in order provide the necessary analytical information to support the sector lead as required. Support in analysing industry information and in formulating effective market entry strategies through marketing, sponsorship and conferences to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Support and help manage all clients of the sector, ensuring enhanced client satisfaction. Manage all parts of the Client Adoption Process, i.e. Onboarding / working with DFSA /RRC, ROC and Leasing. Support the Client in case if there is issue in set up activities such as leasing of office space, entity registration/incorporation with the ROC and employee sponsorship, etc. and coordinate with the respective

Support Departmental Objectives

  • Provide recommendations to process improvements to enhance client experience, by simplifying and streamlining where possible operational processes, involved in the induction of clients into our company such as Application Registration and liaison with the DFSA/RRC and ROC
  • Engage with the IT team to ensure that the CRM system remains optimal and fit for purpose, identifying any improvements to process and increased productivity.
  • Support the efforts of working with other sectors to ensure alignments of best practices

Spread Awareness of our company Competitiveness and Positioning

  • To network and interact with all relevant channels (including trade associations, service providers and government groups) and build ties with the centre and identify new opportunities.
  • To ensure the our company's corporate brand image is maintained consistently while interacting with potential clients.

Information Security & Risk

Responsible for adhering to the information security policies/processes/program and for reporting any security breaches or incidents to their direct managemet.

User understands, agrees and signs the information security related responsibilities, follows rules for the acceptable use of entity's information and information assets

Relevant Skills & Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role in Business Development and Client Management for any organization. 4 years managerial responsibility in an organization of similar scope and size
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry

Mandatory Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or another relevant field. Fluent in English. Fluent in Arabic Preferred.
