Job Opportunity: Senior Planning Engineer

Talents Tide is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join one of our esteemed clients on a major project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring within engineering and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline project schedules in compliance with contract requirements using Primavera P6.

• Review, integrate, and manage schedules related to Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning activities.

• Monitor project progress and update weekly and monthly schedules based on actual execution.

• Develop project planning deliverables including WBS, manpower histograms, S-curves, productivity reports, and resource-loaded schedules.

• Track the critical path, identify schedule risks and delays, and propose mitigation plans to management.

• Perform delay analysis and prepare EOT justification reports in line with contractual requirements.

• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to monitor long-lead items, vendor schedules, and material availability to prevent delays.

• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and internal planning procedures.

• Support cost control and budget tracking teams by providing forecast-based schedules and validating progress.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven experience as a Planning or Senior Planning Engineer in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, and reporting methodologies.
