About the job Company Secretary
Responsibilities:
- Prepares Board and Shareholders meeting papers, approvals, minutes and other documentary requirements
- Prepares the company Senior Management Meeting papers, approvals, minutes and other documentary requirements
- Prepare minutes for the meeting with important partners/vendors
- Ensures entity compliance and lodgment obligations under any relevant laws and regulations
- Ensures compliance with the continuous disclosure requirements of the CA
- Assists with the development of corporate level Risk Management Standard
- Assists with the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and guidelines and ensures the compliance
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a governance environment
- Previous experience in Corporate Secretarial or Assistant Corporate Secretarial
- Knowledge and exposure to ASX corporate secretarial and governance requirements is desirable
- Knowledge of legal terms
- Highly organised, with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven high level of written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to coach and mentor Board members and Senior Management Team members
- Maintains the highest standard of personal conduct in performing all duties (integrity and confidentiality)
- Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Commerce suitable but not essential
