The Company
Our client is a trusted global provider of essential raw materials and performance ingredients for Life Sciences, Specialty Chemicals, and Agrisciences. With a dynamic mix of in-house manufacturing and a robust sourcing network, they offer unmatched flexibility whether you're looking for standard or custom ingredients.
What You'll Do
- Manage bank postings and ensure accurate records
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Oversee and execute payment runs
- Process travel expenses using Lexware
- Maintain and update master data records
- Prepare month-end closing activities
- Record accruals and prepaid expenses accurately
- Post salaries and social security contributions
- Track and post cash register transactions
- Upload financial data to Cognos reporting software
What You Bring to the Table
- Qualification as a tax clerk or equivalent training
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP and VAT regulations
- Proficiency in SAGE (or similar accounting software)
- Experience with Lexware for travel expense accounting
- Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting
- German: Native or bilingual proficiency, used daily
- English: Fluent, used daily
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills

- A salary of 42K - 52K / year (Gross for 12 months)
- Hybrid work - 3 days on site and 2 from home
