What You'll Do

  • Ensuring the company complies with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, AML, financial regulations)
  • Developing and implementing company-wide policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate compliance risks
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Preparing and submitting compliance-related reports to regulatory bodies, senior management, and other stakeholders
  • Providing compliance training for employees and ensuring ongoing compliance awareness across the organization
  • Investigating compliance violations, handling risk assessments, and proposing corrective actions when necessary
  • Assessing risks related to non-compliance and managing risk mitigation strategies

What You Bring to the Table

  • Degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Lithuanian and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II, PSD2)
  • Experience in a compliance, risk management, or legal role, preferably in financial services, fintech, or regulated industries
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian (additional languages are a plus)
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, ACAMS, or similar are an advantage
  • Based in Lithuania - MUST
