Sales Supervisor (Food Department)

Company Background

We are representing our client, a leading importer and distributor of raw materials for cosmetics, home care, food, dietary supplements, and health & beauty instruments, in the search for a Sales Supervisor to join their team

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively prospect new customers to grow our food ingredient sales especially in functional food/dietary supplement/flavor
• Build and maintain strong B2B relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new clients to achieve monthly sales KPIs
• Conduct customer visits, present products, and suggest tailored solutions
• Deliver regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management
• Ensure seamless processing of customer orders, monitor stock movement, and forecast customer needs
• Assist with product quotations, follow up on sales orders, and help finance with late collections
• Strengthen business collaboration by coordinating sample requests, attending business meetings, and executing joint promotional activities to drive market growth.
• Initiate clear and effective communication as a key bridge between the sales team, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth information flow, timely updates, and alignment of business objectives

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical or related fields
• Min. 5 years of sales experience in food, beverage, nutrition industry, preferably Functional Food/Nutraceutical/ Dietary supplement, etc.
• Strong understanding of food ingredients, food supplements, and market trends.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia/overseas when required

• Working hours: Mon-Fri (

  8.30am – 5.30pm)
