About the job Assistant Finance Manager
Company Background:
We are representing a leading public-listed manufacturer and supplier of various steel products, looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Puchong, Selangor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within the dateline
- Budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Perform financial analysis to support business decision-making
- Oversee and manage general ledger accounting activities and accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure AP/AR processes are complied and ensure timely settlements
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings (e.g., Kastam, SST and corporate tax)
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary
- Coordinate and support external and internal audits
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial systems and workflow
- Participate in system upgrades or transitions (e.g., new accounting system implementation)
- Guide and support junior finance staff in their tasks and development
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably in manufacturing related industry
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office)
Working hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6.00pm)
