PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director)

Company Background: Leading Marketing Communications, Public Relations & Events agency in Malaysia.

Position Title: PR Account Manager (Senior Manager/Director)

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Working hour: 9:30am - 6:30pm (Mon - Friday) 

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and understand client business objectives and provide strategic communications advice
• Lead end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, media relations, and events. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource planning
• Support development of PR and communications strategies and oversee media outreach, press releases, influencer engagement, and content development
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign reports
• Provide insights and recommendations for campaign improvement
• Supervise and mentor Account Executives / Account Managers Delegate tasks effectively and review team output
• Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and support pitching for new business and proposal development

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
• 4–7 years of experience in PR, communications, or events industry
• Strong media relations and client servicing experience
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese, as the role requires communication and reporting to Chinese-speaking management.
