Project Manager (Electrical) - Based in Kuching

Company Background

We are representing our client, that provides Electrical and Mechanical engineering solutions including Electrical (High/Low Voltage), ELV Systems, ACMV & HVAC Systems, Clean Room Systems, Fire Protection, Clean Energy Solutions, Data Center Solutions and etc. As they continue to expand, they are looking to hire a Site Project Manager (Electrical) to join the team

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver commercial projects within established deadlines and budgets
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with client and business requirements
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and communication documentation
• Communicate project expectations clearly to internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• Estimate resources, manpower, and materials required to achieve project goals
• Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring quality, cost control, and timeline adherence
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to project team members
• Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, conflicts, and technical issues
• Track milestones and provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders
• Oversee the full project lifecycle including planning, coordination, installation, testing, and handover
• Coordinate M&E works for commercial buildings including power distribution systems, lighting systems, ELV systems, HVAC coordination, fire protection systems, and authority approvals
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, local authorities, and utility providers where required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5–7 years experience in project management in M&E for commercial project or equivalent capacity
• Knowledgeable in general electrical / mechanical engineering works
• Ability to interact and deal effectively with all levels of management and staff
• Must possess good planning knowledge analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and resolve conflict
• Must be willing to work half day on Saturday

Job details:

• Permanent employment
• Working hours: Mon-Fri (9.00am-6.00pm) & Sat (9.00am - 1.00pm)
