Senior HSE Specialist (Logistics Industry)

Company Background:

We are representing a world-leading logistics solutions provider that is seeking a Senior HSE Specialist for its new start-up plant in Johor Bahru

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company's compliance with occupational safety and health standards, implementing OSHA-related policies and procedures
• Develop, implement, and optimize safety programs to prevent workplace accidents
• Conduct HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) and lead workplace safety inspections
• Organize and conduct employee safety training to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities
• Monitor updates in DOSH regulations and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes
• Investigate and report any workplace accidents or violations, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or any related field
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in HSE, preferably in Logistics/Warehouse operations, Supply chain, Manufacturing or industrial environment
• Must possess valid DOSH Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer – SHO)
• DOSH registered competent assessor to perform -chemical health risk assessment
• Must hold valid CePSWaM certification

Other info:

• Permanent employment
• Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Remuneration package : Basic + 13 months salary
