Company Background
We are representing our client a fresh food manufacturer/central kitchen providing fresh food and ready-to-eat meals for the F&B and retail industry.
In line with their ongoing business expansion, our client is in search of a QA/QC Manager to oversee the QA and QC department at their new facility located in Balakong, Selangor.

Main Responsibilities
- To lead companys Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department in establishing & implementing the standards of quality control procedures and protocols comply to internal & external certification requirement.
- To analyze, evaluate & qualify daily production standards, new product-trial run procedure by collecting daily production data, quality control report, product specification and other related data to production QAQC issue.
- To lead in FSSC 22000 application audit, HACCP, Halal Jakim audit, customer compliance audit and conduct audit on supplier factories.
- To manage and handle the documentation with regards to all QAQC related application such as HACCP, Halal Jakim, GMP, FSSC 22000 and other food safety standard implemented by the company.
- To monitor and lead QAQC team in quality inspection for samples from raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products and finished products.
- To handle and guide the team in doing corrective action and preventive action of customer complaints and non-conformance issue raised up during work processes, internal & external audit.
- Oversee & monitor production productivity, efficiency, hygiene standards, QAQC work schedule and building pest control.
- Provide leaderships, training & supervision in kitchen hygiene SOP and make sure the company is staying current on laws and regulations compliance, oversees the quality and proper usage of all food ingredients.
- Work closely with other departments and supplier on product quality issues to ensure the quality of raw material is being monitored & provide the solution on quality improvement where applicable.
- Any other duties as assigned by superior/management from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Degree holder.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC role in the food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control best practices
- Experience and knowledge in Hazard, HACCP, ISO, FSSC 2200 certification.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
