We are representing our client a plastic raw material trading company that has been providing high-quality materials to manufacturers and businesses around the world for several years.
Our client offers a wide range of plastic raw materials, including PET, PVC, polyethylene, and polypropylene, and we work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure we source only the best quality materials.

Responsibilities
- Leading the accounts department to ensure smooth operations of the Accounts Department on a daily basis.
- Responsible for preparing full set of accounts including monthly bank reconciliation and month-end closing procedures.
- To coordinate day-to-day financial activities and ensure compliance of finance related SOPs.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, tailored to the plastic recycling industry.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in our manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes, emphasizing the unique aspects of our recycling operations.
- To perform treasury function, cash flow management includes preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and monitoring daily bank balances & funds.
- Ensure completeness of the recording and filing of all accounting data entries.
- Prepare monthly debtor statement and remind client via email
- Analyze and control expenditures to ensure they align with budgetary constraints specific to the recycling industry.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across all departments, including production, logistics, and sales.
- Implement best practices in financial management to optimize resource allocation, emphasizing waste reduction and resource efficiency.
- Monitor budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop financial forecasts and projections to guide long-term planning, focusing on market trends in recycled plastic products.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years related Accounting/Finance experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Open to consider candidates with SPM/Diploma/Degree with relevant working experience.
- Able to work at Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
- Ability to speak in Mandarin language is a must.
