We are representing our client a national agency tasked to facilitate and promote the country's healthcare travel industry and to position Malaysia as the preferred healthcare destination.

Contract Terms: 2 years (renewable)

Job Overview

To lead the division of healthcare which comprise of healthcare excellence & optimization, transformative healthcare initiatives, membership & hospital liaison, strategic healthcare development and healthcare travel gateway.

Main Responsibilities

• To lead the development and implementation of Augment and Coordinate strategy and plans.
• To lead the implementation of Integrative medicine for Medical tourism by working with all stakeholders.
• To establish, enhance the relationships with private hospitals, ambulatory care facility providers and other healthcare stakeholders.
• To monitor the relationships with stakeholders, identify key interventions such as regular engagement activities, forum, dialogue, summit and more that would be beneficial in achieving the company's objectives.
• To implement initiated ventures including FMTH, in accordance to the implementation, plan, objectives and to work with all the relevant divisions and other stakeholders.
• To lead the review of the entire Health Travel Ecosystem and to develop and implement appropriate strategies with the objective of enabling optimum or exceptional level of customer satisfaction working closely with stakeholders, other stakeholders in the ecosystem.
• To establish itself as the platform to assist divisions in communicating with stakeholders.
• To lead the continuous development, review and enhancement of the membership program, including Secretariat for Technical Committee and Selection & Evaluation Committee
• Build and foster good working relationship with all other stakeholders of the medical tourism value chain, including bilateral and multi-lateral relations.

Requirements:

• Hold a Degree / Masters in Medical or related fields. Preferably from a medical related field.
• At least 12 -15 year of working experience, and 7 years in managerial positions in the related fields.
• Very strong EQ, specialised in building network.
• Experienced in process review, development of superior functional business/ quality systems.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership and excellent interpersonal communication traits.
• Able to work independently, analytical, proactive and organised
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
