Aircond Maintenance Head / Senior Technician (Sungai Long Kajang)

Job Scope

1. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all air conditioning systems.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure uninterrupted functionality, especially in high-use or critical areas.

2. Team Leadership and Supervision

• Lead, train, and manage a team of air conditioning technicians, ensuring they perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance for complex troubleshooting.

3. Repair and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose system malfunctions and direct repairs, including parts replacements and system recalibration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain optimal cooling efficiency.

4. System Monitoring and Optimization

• Monitor system performance, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Make recommendations for system upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency or adapt to new needs.

5. Inventory and Budget Management

• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and manage the departments budget, including expenses for repairs, parts, and labor.

6. Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and provide training on best practices for working with air conditioning systems.

7. Documentation and Reporting

• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
• Report on maintenance outcomes, including issues, resolutions, and recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least a SKM or Diploma In Air conditioning.
• Minimum 4-5 years experience working as Aircond Technician / Senior Technician in a commercial setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, especially commercial air conditioning system.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
