Company Background
We are representing our client a well-established Halal & HACCP pastry and bakery manufacturer which distribute and supplies broad variety of bakery and pastry products to various customers such as F&B convenient stores, F&B outlets and eateries and airlines.
They are currently embarking expansion plans and in a lookout for qualified and dynamic candidates to fill the Factory Manager position to be based in Puncak Alam (New Plant).

Job Summary:
- Manage and lead all facility, production, and administrative departments.
- Provide directions and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills in the production plant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production planning and scheduling, match the resources needed to complete the production task, distinguish the priorities of the tasks, set the completion deadline and pay regular attention to the project progress, respond to accidents in time according to the updated content of the plan, and ensure the efficient and timely completion of the production task of the day.
- Responsible for daily management and supervision, allocate all kinds of resources, conduct objective assessment, and seek to maximize the utilization of all the resources (personnel, equipment, materials, tools, etc.), improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Plan, organize, and control production and operations while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO requirements.
- Ensure safe work conditions compliance to OSHA, food hygiene, and health compliance in production.
- Pay attention to all aspects affecting the product, be good at summarizing quality control points, form training templates, take corrective and preventive measures and strictly monitor the implementation of these aspects, and constantly improve the comprehensive quality pass rate of production.
- Responsible for capacity assessment, timely proposed personnel demand plan, followed up personnel in place, rationally arranged employment, and improved per capital efficiency.
- Work out and implement Standard Operating Procedures for production and operations.
- Lead corrective action and problem-solving activities and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate with HR Dept in hire, train and supervise production employees.
- Carry out other duties and tasks as directed by Top Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience in a food manufacturing company, focusing on production planning, equipment management or similar position.
- Ability to speak in Mandarin or Cantonese language.
- Excellent organizational skill, strategic thinking and good working attitude.
- Committed, mature, have pleasant disposition and able to work independently.
- Able to work under pressure and willing to work additional hours when necessary.
- Capable of guiding teams to improve factory operations processes.
- Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, GMPC, 6S and others related knowledge.
- Proficient in production planning and on-site management, with expertise in all aspects of production manufacturing.
