Job Summary
Responsible in supervising and coordinating all activities of Finance Department in line with the department and company's objective and mission including maintaining a full set of accounts, financial & management reporting, financial & tax planning and statutory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance & Accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations and sufficient cash flow.
- Oversee and manage the company's finance, accounting, and tax functions, including treasury, cash-flow management, and auditing activities.
- Manage end-to-end finance functions, month-end closing activities, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Management.
- Manage tax planning, savings strategies, and funding strategies for development projects and banking facilities.
- Ensuring all approved policies, procedures and procedures [related to Finance] are disseminated in a proper and timely manner within the department and where applicable, throughout the department/company.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, statutory bodies and other third parties in the normal cause of duties
- Ensure the timely preparation of all papers, reports and relevant documents for the department/company, statutory bodies and any others as and when required
- Provide solution and/or improvements towards the overall departments activities.
- Undertake all other assignments and duties as instructed by the Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Finance or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experienced in the related field is required.
- Candidate MUST have FINANCE experience in MANUFACTURING background.
- Good spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Good team player with a hands-on approach and positive working attitude.
- High level of ethics and confidentiality.
- With can-do attitude, able to multi-task, is proactive, able to work independently with minimum supervision, is organized with good analytical skills.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
