Technical Sales Engineer

Company Background:

We are representing our client a Global European market leader in power distribution protection, monitoring, control, and system looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for Malaysia market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to maintain and grow existing customers and key
  task will be to focus on developing new customers to grow in the Malaysia market
• Evaluate and develop strategies for targeted market to generate new leads and opportunities
• Build strong and collaborative relationship with customers
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth delivery to customers
• Conduct market research, forecast and feedback to Sales Director for assessment
• Drive product presentation and penetration with confidence
• Sales driven mind-set with focus in achieving the sales revenue
• Hunter like mentality to look for new customers
• Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in the OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sectors
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Weekly reviews to Sales Director for reporting
• Organize training for Vendors, Distributors and Customers
• Keep awareness of new product launch and acquire its technical knowledge
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by Superior

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering 
• Min 4-5 years relevant Sales experience in a relevant segment/industry
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives on the challenge of acquiring new clients
• Knowledge in handling low voltage electrical product
• Familiarity and preference working with an SME-type structure
• Required to travel within Malaysia and in the region on requirement basis
• Confident to conduct presentation & product demonstration to customers
• The candidate maybe be based in Penang or KL

• Permanent employment
• Working hours : Mon - Fri (9.00am - 6.00pm)
