We are representing our client; the world's leading multinational food corporation which currently serves the global food giants markets in Greater China, North Asia and Oceania, India and Southeast Asia to fill the role as R2R - Head of Treasury

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be managing a team of 4 pax and report to R2R-Treasury Director, responsible for treasury activities in Asia, Pacific, Middle-East
  • Support the delivery of Treasury strategy and uphold business strategic initiatives
  • Provide guidance to local finance teams on all matters related to the treasury in accordance with group policies
  • Partner effectively across functional teams to drive key Treasury initiatives and cross-functional projects involving Treasury
  • Monitor/forecasted and actual short/mid-term treasury position
  • Lead IS projects to optimize cash management processes and tools
  • Finance companies through adequate bank credit lines, intercompany loans, capital injection, dividend planning, excess cash management and alternative financing schemes (supplier confirming, factoring, leasing)
  • Forecast and manage companies short/mid-term Net Debt level
  • Forecast and optimize companies' Financial result
  • Manage surplus cash through adequate placement strategy
  • Secure Foreign Exchange risk of the companies via; analysis and forecast of the forex exposure & implementation of FX hedging in line with Group policy
  • Monthly/quarterly review of the hedging effectiveness
  • Manage counterparty risk through bank guarantees, letter of credit or other risk management tools
  • Ensure application of the Group Financial policies
  • Manage bank relationships at local level. Ensure proper allocation of the treasury flows between core banks
  • Ensure regular Treasury reporting
  • Manage ad-hoc Treasury projects

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification
  • Minimum of 7 years related work experience
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin (as need to manage a team member in China)
  • Experience in Kyriba, CitiDirect, Bloomberg, SAP and/or Magnitude will be a plus
  • Excellent communicator and able to create and build a a sustainable network at all levels internally & externally with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and possesses strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Effective in time management and planning skills
  • Strong team management skills
