About the job Chief Financial Officer (Based in Sungai Buloh, Selangor)
Company Overview:
We are representing our client a pioneer in the palm oil mill construction that offers turnkey solutions, encompassing design, fabrication, installation, project management, financing, and maintenance services.
We are looking for a CFO to guide the company through its Initial Public Offering (IPO) process and support their future growth.

Position Overview:
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring its financial health, and providing strategic financial leadership. A key focus of this role is leading the company through the IPO process, working closely with senior leadership, investors, and external advisors to ensure a successful transition to becoming a publicly listed company.
Key Responsibilities:
- IPO Preparation and Execution:
- Lead and manage the company's IPO process, working with investment bankers, legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare all necessary financial documents, filings, and disclosures required for the IPO, including S-1 filings and financial prospectuses.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet public company requirements, including financial reporting, internal controls, and governance.
- Coordinate roadshows and investor presentations with senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and listing requirements.
- Financial Leadership:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop strategies to optimize the companys financial performance and positioning.
- Lead financial risk management, including managing capital structure, debt, and liquidity.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
- Corporate Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure the company complies with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls and reporting systems.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors on financial strategy, risk management, and corporate governance matters.
- Investor Relations:
- Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead the development of investor communications, including quarterly earnings reports and annual reports.
- Ensure consistent and transparent communication with shareholders post-IPO.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Foster a high-performing finance team capable of scaling with the companys growth.
Qualifications:
- Possess Professional Accounting Certification/membership such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, MIA etc.
- Currently holding a Senior Management role with experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in dealing with investors and the board of directors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in construction industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in audit firm will be an advantage.
