Accounts Executive (Full Set Account)

Job Description

Company Background:

We represen our client, a fast growing Food & beverage retail company with over 20+ outlets across Malaysia. As they are expanding, they are looking for Account Executive (Full set) to be based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to handle full sets of accounts.
• Ensure payments are completed accurately and timely manner.
• Solve discrepancy between purchase order and invoice.
• Assist in monitoring backlog invoices and give direction to teams to drive down the backlog number accordingly.
• Prepare report and vendor reconciliation and act on overdue open items.
  
• Ensuring KPIs for Account payable are met, these include timely processing and payment of invoices
• Verify and review suppliers' payments, staff commission claim and trade application.
• Assist in establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems.
• Timely Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns submission and compliance at all times.
• Responsible for Tax Planning & Compliance.
• Review statutory audit reports, inventory management and Debtors Ageing Report.
• Attend and liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers and etc.
• Perform other ad hoc assignment and task as and when requested by management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting/finance with experience in the
  F&B/retail industry.
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure
