We are representing our client a Multinational Inspection & Certification company. They provides comprehensive services in inspection, testing, verification and certification across multiple sectors such as industrial manufacturing, automotive, agriculture, transportation etc.

With the current expansion, they are looking for experienced candidate to fill the position of Human Resource Business Partner (Junior / Executive level) based in Shah Alam.

Job summary:

  • Act as an effective HR leader in partnership with the business units leaders from various business units in providing broad range of the HR solutions and strategic plans to support the business in delivering the best HR practices that align with the business needs and achieve the business goals.
  • Responsible for planning, executing and managing the day-to-day human resources initiatives and operations matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the leadership team on formulating people strategy and initiatives that are aligned with the corporate objectives and based on priority.
  2. Analyse the organizational capabilities and work with leaders to review and develop the right organizational structure and ways of working for the business.
  3. Positively impact employees by cultivating a highly integrity culture and performance-driven working ethics, to achieve the employees satisfaction and healthy corporate / environment culture.
  4. Facilitate resolution of employee conflicts or concerns. Investigate allegations of employees misconduct and guide the management on disciplinary and grievance processes.
  5. Drive talent review process and review with leaders to create individual development and succession plans to improve the human capabilities.
  6. Forecast and plan ahead the manpower needs for the business to ensure the readiness of the human resources in meeting the business demands.
  7. Studies the market / competitors trend and the needs of business to enhance the competitiveness of the reward strategies, through liaison with the HR Service Centre C&B.
  8. Adherence to company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
  9. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in HR generalist, preferable from manufacturing or relevant industry.
  • Experienced in dealing with diversified business and managing various levels of stakeholders in a MNC environment.
  • Familiar with the latest update in Employment Act, ISO9001 or relevant shared service standard.
  • Knowledge in using computer/MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to HRIS is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in competency-based hiring or use of psychometrics profiling is an added advantage.
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia both written and communication.
