Company Background
We are representing our client, a well-established hospitality and leisure resort, position to be based in Sungai Long, Kajang.
Position: Cost Controller
Additional Information:
- Working Days: Mon - Fri (8:30am - 6:00pm)
- Work Location: SG Long, Kajang

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze daily costs across hotel departments, particularly food & beverage and operations.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and prevent losses.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual expenses with budgeted amounts.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure supplier contracts align with budget and cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and conduct internal audits.
- Prepare and present cost reports to management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Track and review expenses related to hotel operations, including labor, supplies, and utilities.
- Identify areas for cost savings and recommend efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
