Company Background

We are representing our client, a well-established hospitality and leisure resort, position to be based in Sungai Long, Kajang.

Position: Cost Controller 

Additional Information:

  • Working Days: Mon - Fri (8:30am - 6:00pm) 
  • Work Location: SG Long, Kajang

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze daily costs across hotel departments, particularly food & beverage and operations.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and prevent losses.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual expenses with budgeted amounts.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure supplier contracts align with budget and cost targets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and conduct internal audits.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Track and review expenses related to hotel operations, including labor, supplies, and utilities.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and recommend efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
